De La Garza received several nominations for her character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Deko as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio.
